AI Customer Support Automation

Answer the same forty questions once

Most support volume is a short list of questions asked repeatedly. This answers them from your own documentation, across every channel you support, and hands the rest to an agent with the history and the context already attached — so the hard tickets get the attention the easy ones were eating.

Scope my support automationNo commitment — a scoping call and an honest read on whether this fits.
The short answer

AI customer support automation is a layer in front of your helpdesk: it reads the incoming message, answers from your own documentation when it can, and escalates when it cannot — with the conversation, the customer history and its own reasoning attached, so the agent starts informed rather than from scratch.

Measurement

What it is expected to move

Figures are typical ranges from comparable builds, and the ranges are wide where they honestly should be.

Deflection45–70%of tier-one volume

The repeat questions, answered without a ticket being opened. The range is real: it depends entirely on how good your documentation is.

First replyInstantany channel, any hour

Not a holding message — an actual answer, or an honest handover with the context already attached.

Agent time40%back on hard tickets

Time recovered from triage and repetition, spent on the tickets that actually needed a person.

Gap closureWeeklydocumentation fixed

Every unanswered question is logged, so the second month deflects more than the first without anyone guessing why.

AI Customer Support Automation, answered

The questions that come up on every scoping call, including the uncomfortable ones.

Scope my support automation
Will customers know they are talking to a bot?

Yes, because it says so. Pretending otherwise is a short-term win and a long-term complaint, and it makes the handover feel like a bait-and-switch. What matters is that it answers well and gets out of the way quickly when it should.

What if it gets something wrong?

It answers only from material you gave it and says so when the answer is not there, rather than filling the gap. The bigger protection is the guardrails: it cannot settle money, make policy exceptions or promise dates, so its worst realistic failure is an unhelpful answer rather than a costly one.

How much volume will it actually deflect?

Between 45% and 70% of tier-one questions, and the range is honest — it is almost entirely a function of how good your documentation is. Brands with a real help centre land at the top; brands whose knowledge lives in people's heads start lower and climb as the gap reports get acted on.

Which helpdesks does it work with?

Zendesk, Freshdesk, Intercom, HubSpot Service Hub and Gorgias directly, plus anything with an API. It creates and updates tickets rather than living beside your helpdesk, so your reporting stays in one place.

Does it need our customer data?

Only if you want order and account context in the answers, and only what you explicitly allow. It works without any of it — the difference is 'here is our returns policy' versus 'your order shipped Tuesday and is covered until the 30th'.

Send us your help centre and your last hundred tickets

We will tell you honestly what share of that volume is deflectable, what your documentation is missing, and what it would take to have it answering.
